We count photos, not files
When you upload one photo, WordPress creates about 7 sizes, and each one is converted to 2 formats. Some services count each of those files. We count the photo once.

Questions
Does my hosting need anything special?
No. The conversion happens on our servers. Your WordPress only needs to make outgoing HTTPS requests, which it already does for updates.
Are my original images changed?
Never. AVIF and WebP files are saved next to the originals. The watermark, if you enable it, goes only on the copies we serve.
What happens to my photos on your servers?
The original is deleted as soon as the conversion finishes, and the converted files as soon as your site downloads them, within 24 hours at most.
What if I run out of photos?
Your site keeps working and shows the original images. New uploads are converted again when your plan renews or when you upgrade.
Can I use it on several sites?
Yes. Every plan, including the free one, works on as many sites as you want.
